  1. since gravity is based on mass and volume,

    to get 2 times the gravity, the earth only needs to be 1.26 times bigger, because the volume of a sphere is

    V=4/3pi r^3

    2 times the volume is

    V=4/3pi ((2r)^3)= 4/3 pi ((1.26^3)r^3)

    if the earth was twice its size, gravity would be

    2^3 or 8 times more.  check out the gravity of Jupiter and earth.

  2. i don't think our appearance would change with the earth

  3. twice as big

  4. I'm pretty sure we'd be half the size, or at least weight that we are now, but we'd have more bone mass?

  5. shorter, heavier leg bones if we were standing upright, which is a maybe because of the energy it would take to overcome gravity... or we'd have huge strong muscles that helped us stand up..... very strong neck muscles and a shorter neck to hold up the head against gravity.... prob a lot like the early man.....
