What would women think about dating a 33-year old virgin guy?

I am a 33 year old virgin guy. While I have been on a few dates, I have never been in a relationship or had s*x. There are several reasons for this but it is mainly because I am shy around women I like (I find it hard to call a woman or approach her at a bar, etc...), have a lot of hobbies, and have concentrated on my education and degrees. I now have a great job and have done quite of few things by myself so, recently, I have thought about trying to date and maybe even marry eventually. I am wondering if any woman would date or marry a guy my age who has almost no relationship history and has never had s*x? I have been told I am good looking, but I do admit I am a little clueless about some of the finer points of relationships. Would women find this strange? What should I do?

The virginity part wouldn't bother me so much as the shyness.  It's hard to have a relationship with a guy who is afraid to call or carry on a conversation.  I wouldn't expect a guy to be super-smooth, but you have to be able to put yourself out there, and make a connection.  Maybe you could get some pointers from friends, or a relationship counselor.  By the way, a bar is probably not the greatest place to try to meet women.  Try talking to women while you are involved in one of your hobbies.  It will be more natural, and you'll come across as genuine.  Good luck!

I think most women would love this situation.No baggage or nasty habits or anything else being dragged into the relationship. A beautiful, clean, fresh canvas. Don't worry about the lack of experience, cos with the right lady, after the first couple of times, you will be as "proficient" as some of these other guys who would s***w anything. Too much s*x gotten too easily does not a good lover make! You pick up on the finer points of relationships as you go. There is no standard to be met. well, while i am not your age yet (only 20) i bet i will be in your spot some day.

i have always wondered that also.  My female friends say "its cute" but usually say they don't want to teach a guy how to have s*x.  (they must think they, themselves are amazing at s*x or something).

oh well, might as well go out and find a date instead of wasting our night on this site... right?

33 year old virgin? Are you serious? Chicks will think you are weird if you are a virgin at 18, but at 33? Just don't tell them, keep it to yourself. If they day does come, and you look clueless, just be confident. Always be confident.

Yes of course. That's exactly how old my husband was. We were both in our thirties and both virgins. So to answer your question, I would date you if I were single.

Whichever way you paint it ,a 33 year old virgin male or female has problems .However if you are good looking you should have no problems

getting a female friend if you stick to a similar background to you ,educated shy and maybe 10 or so years younger ..

I'm a guy, but here's the truth, dude.  The vast majority of hot women would be turned on, if anything by this.  Feminists will likely insult you and will issue baseless attacks and tell you rubbish, but if you wanna know the truth, tons of hot women would love the pleasure of enjoying a man who hasn't had a lot of experience.  The Feminists may tell you otherwise, but trust me.  Hot women like to, "teach" less experienced guys, especially s**y dancers and the like.

I see no problems. It is okay to be shy. Some women like men that are shy. You are just cautious that is all. Don't be afraid to be yourself. As a woman, I don't see that as a problem. I can see where it would bother you, but, don't let it bring you down. You are simply waiting for the right woman. You have to be careful these days. Besides, a woman likes sincerity in a guy.

My best friend is dating a guy that was still a virgin at 33.  It freaked her out a little bit in the beginning, but they are still together almost a year later.  If you don't make a big deal out if, she won't either, and both of you will be more comfortable with it.

My husband was a 27-year-old virgin with no prior relationships when I met him. As I said, I married him, so there are women out there who really aren't put off by that. And btw, he turned out to be a lot better in bed than some of the more experienced men I'd been with! He was a natural!
