Let's pretend Congress is made up of a bunch of pushovers that allowed you to ratify or remove an amendment to the Constitution (or Bill of Rights). What would you want to see or not see on the Constitution?

  1. I'd add that it cannot be dismantled for any reason.

  2. I would add an amendment that would require a court to review any ammendment that is removed/violated/raddified by politicians, with the decesion being made by the citizens through vote.

  3. I would add more definitions, to the current wording. Taking away some of the "legislating from the bench" that the courts do.

    Also, I would extend the 14th amendment, to include cities, counties, and even home owner's associations.

    That is the simple version. My full version, would take up as much space, as typing the entire Bill of Rights here.

  4. for the citizens be able to vote on everything.

  5. well i have always thought that the 2nd amendement is pretty clear, however there are some who disagree, so i would want it clarified to mean that i can have any gun i please for the purpose of defense against any enemy of my choosing including the government, as well as for recreational purposes such as target shooting and hunting.  And the government can put no limitations on such right.

    I would also like a specific right to privacy stated (instead of an implied right ie the 9th amendment)

    lastly, i would like wording in there that would cause imprisonment terms of 4 to 8 years for any politician who tries to pass legislation that is in violation of the constitution.

    +++++++edit added

    yeah thats a good one something to fix legislation from the bench would be good too. . . .
