  1. That depends a lot on what the report presented -- Did the speaker claim to believe in the curse?  Or did they debunk it?

So - if the speaker believes in the curse -- ask why did it take so long for many of the people associated with opening the tomb to die?   (Wiki stated that @60 people were associated with opening the tomb.  but only about 8 had died within ten years of the Find.  What would happen if you took a group of similar aged men and tracked their longevity?  Is 8 deaths a normal number or an abnormal number?

Ask about collaborating evidence - a lot of the curse involves story and fable -- where is the hard evidence (tablets, carvings, diaries of people associated with the actual Dig,)

Where is the mummy of Tut now?  Did you know that there were two baby mummies found within Tut's tomb?  Their DNA is being tested to see if they are children of the Pharaoh.  Are there other curses on any tombs?  What about the Pyramids?   What happened to tomb-robbers if they were caught back then?  What does Tut's tomb tell us about the afterlife of the Egyptians?

  2. "What is the scientific explanation behind the happenings?"would be a start.

Science can explain only so much--the mold. But so many deaths occurring at one time to other natural causes, like the infection of Caernarvon, his death and the death of his dog(miles away in England) happening at the same time a power outage hits--what coincidences!

  3. no that was a myth

  4. I would ask:

In the news this week it was announced that mummified fetuses were also found in King Tut's tomb in 1922, but kept hidden until now.  Who were these babies and why were they hidden?

(Some info to help you with your response can be found in "source.")

  5. i wouldnt ask anythign since it was a story made up by newspapers to attract more attention to the discovery of his tomb.
