What would you ask if you were going in for surgery?

so i, seeing my segeon in 9 days righ tnow i have an colostomy and am getting it reversed i have a bunchg of questions like how long it will be, complications i can expect and so on is there any thiing you would ask if you were going for surgery, i want to go in prepared, so any ideas would be great. thanx
