What would you buy wiht 2,000 dollars?

There's a purse for $700 that I am in love with. I would buy that. I'd probably use another $300 on clothes/shoes.

And the other thousand, I'd put away in savings.

Have it turn itself into more money and again etc.  Also I would pay the first payment of life insurance that i just bought  (i don't have the first payment sent in yet) I would not tell my kids about it because I am trying real hard to change my irresponsible ways and they will talk me out of using it for the unseen things. Or maybe I would use some to teach my kids about finance.I'm 40 and in my school we had sewing or cooking to teach us about grown up life. You would think we'd have a class to learn about the thing in life that most people spend the whole day doing, earning money. I wish i was bored stiff in a finance class maybe we'd been taught how to handle money. Cause I haven't sewn since the last day of class in 8th grade. At least I can cook though.
