  1. I have always thought of him as a crypto creature.  However it is curious to note that sightings usually preceeds tragedy.

  2. G) Myth

  3. Bad pizza? No the people had radiation burns didn't they? or burns of some sort right???.. sounds like a low flying government test vehicle to me... Muahahahahahaha.. where is Moulder and Scully when you need them?!

    1) No living creature could produce radiation without causing it's own cell death.

    2) A demon would be a spiritual being with evil intent who cannot act upon the living without their expressed intention to allow that action.

    3) Cryptozoology?... uh... over 100 years and still no proof.. go figure. See point #1.

    4) Aliens? Please do not disturb the aliens they are having tea with bigfoot and the Easter bunny. No really! They all come to my house every other Saturday to play cribbage.

    5) He eats dogs and kids! I sure wouldn't call him late for dinner! Er.. I might not actually call him for dinner... maybe that is why he's so miffed.. Sorry Point Pleasant... My bad.

  4. "D"

  5. The name mothman was the name given to a creature sighted many times in West Virginia in the areas of Point Pleasant and Charleston between 1966 and 1967. It as also had sparodic sightings before and after those dates. The mothman is described as human sized creature which as large wings and reflective red eyes. From the description given it seem that the first reported sighting from this creature was in November 1966 when a group of five men were digging a grave in Clemdenin and the creature flew over them from nearby trees. This was not made public till later. The first media report happened to two married couples in the same month a few days later, they were out driving and saw two large red lights in a shadow of a generator at a old factory, on closer inspection they realised the glowing lights were in fact the eyes from this creature.

There are many theories as to whether the mothman exists, some which include, John Keele who wrote a book in 1975 called The Mothman Prophecies who writes all about the mothman and as lots of first hand accounts, he claims the sightings could be attributed to a time when there were lots of parapsychological events happening around the area including UFO's and Bigfoot and Loren Coleman who is a researcher of the mothman who puts it to a more down to earth reasoning of that it may of been a large owl or another flying cryptid.

There continues to be some today and many people still bellieve that the mothman really does exist.

  6. Crypto creature until more evidence is available.

    Psi

  7. No idea.

IF these are the only choices, The best options are either A or B.

I find that paranormal phenomenon tend not to be what was first reported but a combination of actual evidence, matrixing( our brains desire to find patterns) and other POV issues.

  8. A  goverment angent running round in  a suit trying to scare people.

  9. Just the like the orignal Moths.

  10. A.  Just another cryptocabra thing.

  11. I am not exactly sure what  you would classify Mothman but enough people reported sighting this phenomenon that it started a police investigation. I watch a program call "Paranormal State" and they actually did a show on Mothman. I believe Mothman is a messenger of tragedy. Reported sightings of Mothman have been reported all over the world. I don't believe Mothman is evil... just looks evil. I don't recall reading about any injuries related to a sighting other than some tragic event so that is where the messenger theory comes in.

  12. I would give you something along the line of an interdimensional messenger.

I have read accounts that indicate that we are caught in the middle of a cosmic battle...With one side trying to keep us ignorant of the fact that there is a battle going on.

Call it heaven and h**l, Grays and Smalls, Angels and Demons...

It boils down to being allowed our legitimate (as much as possible) learning curve.

The Mothman (to my knowledge) has never directly caused harm, only cryptic information.

  13. It depends on who you ask. Skeptics will say myth or fable and others have their own idea. So it really depends on the philosophy and beliefs of the individual. *

  14. arther

  15. if he has anything to do with Richard Geere, please find him. He needs to marry me.

  16. I would have to say a combo of both A and F...

The mothman sightings always seem to proceed some sort of mass tragedy... The first sightings were near the time of a fatal bridge colapse, and as recent as the Twin Towers.

I'm not much on cryptozoology so this of course is just speculation do to what I have read.
