  1. drone?

  2. The choppy drone of the blades slicing through the air. Hope that helps.

  3. wooka or if its a chinook a wooka wooka

  4. ECH-ECH-ECH, repeated noises that are loud like the wind against your ears really hard for about 1 second repeatedly. That or when you clear your throat. If that doesn't help, you can probably go on youtube, a video website and look up 'helicopter' in the toolbar of youtube.

  5. ch ch ch ch ch ch cH cH CH CH CH CH CH Ch Ch ch ch ch

I think that's why they are called "choppers".

  6. CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOPCHOP CHOP CHOP

That's why they call them choppers

  7. Onomatopoeia would be something like "chu chu chu chu", I think... if you're just going for a descriptive term, maybe a "perforated whirr"? I just made that up, but it's kind of a cool phrase.

  8. thumping of the rotors

  9. Woosh, woosh, woosh.

  10. A great boom of wind came toward me with a forward thrust.
