i was told a bird of paradise but im not sure

and i want a tattoo of it and i want it on my shoulder...

Why don't you print out a copy and take it to the tattoo parlour, show it to him/her and ask them to do it?

That way you're SURE to get the right bird.

I think it looks like a dove.

Which could represent love and unity, or freedom and prosperity whichever way you want to look at it.

I think its beautiful, and would make a great tattoo!

This is basically a stylized picture..it does look a little bit like a  bird of paradise (the tail at least).  Safest to bring this photo with you.

That's really cool looking but you should print it out and take it to the tattoo parlor and they'll draw it up for you.
