Dirty Album

So much we wished hadn't left us

People went away

all the good moments they took with them

the love, the hate, the quarrel

are all in yesterday now

so many promises they break away

waves of their good-byes

paint us a life

a life without them

same old routine

same old air

same old things they touched as they went

just left us behind with memories

Memories color an album

with pictures and songs and videos

that we see behind our eyes

so painful to watch the past

and we try neglecting

the album covers with dirt

as we try and keep it closed

then this moment becomes

another Memory

adds a page to the Album

and we're forced to open it up and look

as a tear falls off on the

Dirty Album

It almost seems to be two different poems to me, you have some talent there no doubt, keep writing, and just let it flow,

This is really good.You can feel the emotion and a life that was left to the past. I like this poem alot.
