What would you compare a tattoo like?

it kinda feels like someone is trying to write on your skin with a sharp pencil that is either really hot or really cold. its uncomfortable but its not unbearable.

Scratch your fingernail in one place on your skin for 20-30 seconds.  It feels like that IN GENERAL.  Some places hurt more than others, but it's an irritation feeling more than "pain".

What do you mean? Comparing what it's like to get a tattoo? In that case, it feels like a bad sunburn or sting. For me, it doesn't start to really hurt until after sitting for 3 hours. Then the pain is more of a burning and irritation than anything else. I can't sit longer than that. Other people sit longer, some people sit for shorter amounts of time.

ie the pain factor

ask that way and everyone will tell you something different

one person (me) will tell you tops of your feet hurt like a mo fo

someone else will say it was a breeze

someone (me) will tell you a tattoo on an ankle doesn't hurt

someone else will say they wanted to crawl out of their skin it hurt so bad

for me (i have 5) the pain varied by location. some places didn't hurt, others tested my ability to not say stop, my thigh was a hot dull scratchy pain.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR PAIN TOLERANCE. IT ALSO DEPENDS ON THE ARTIST AND THE SIZE OF THE TATTOO AND LOCATION, BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT FEELS LIKE A SMALL SCARTCH OR PINCH EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE.
