  1. Any employer that cares about GCSEs will ask that you have at least 5 with grades between A* and C. A C may not be enough to get you onto the same course for A-level, depending on your teachers, but anything between A* and C is fine. Although, obviously, the closer to an A*, the better.

  2. For me, I want A*s, I won't be disappointed with As in a couple of subjects I'm bad at, but if you wana stand out it's gotta be nearly all top grades.

Having said that, if my friends got As and Bs I'd say that was good. Cs are bad. They're only just a pass. I'd retake Cs. And below that's a fail basically, except you're not alowed to say that any more in case people get depressed... face it it's a fail.

  3. Honestly, if u want to stand out as clever, and stand out as having really good grades, you need to be achieving all A*s and As, with one or two Bs.

I would class mostly As and Bs as good!

Mostly Bs and Cs is decent.

Anywhere much worse than that and you haven't done very well!

That's just on average, because ppl are achieving such good grades these days.

I dont mean to say that if you get Ds and Es that's bad, because if that's what ur predicted that's good, but as an average against every1 else you have to get lots of A*s and As to have really good grades.

  4. I don't know...

My sister did them this year

She got 4 A's and 6 a*'s passing Russian, Media, Business, Spanish, Science [Dual], Geography, English and Math.

B's are always great to get with a few A's in there for good measure .... But it depends on the subject...

  5. I would consider C+ good. It is a good pass and as long as you have at least 5 A*-C's you will impress an employer. If you want to go into higher education then you should be aiming for B+
