What would you consider to be the best NBA draft ever?

I would say 1984 (soon to be 3 HOF in first 5 picks) would be top followed by 2003 with 4 all stars in top 5.The 1979 draft might be the best (and would be if it were as listed on Wikipedia below), but I am almost sure that Bird was 1978. A friend of mine was saying that this year could compare.

most diverse in talent is 1996: iverson, kobe, nash, marbury, jermaine oneal, camby, ray allen, shareef, stojakovic, antoine walker etc

most accomplished is 1984: jordan, barkley, olajuwon, stockton

most promising is 2003: lebron, melo, bosh, wade... not to mention barbosa, west, howard, mo williams etc

best so far? '84... quality over quantity

1984 is by far the most monumental draft in NBA history

1984: Hakeem, Jordan, Barkley, A. Robertson, Stockton, and Pick number 208 by the Bulls Carl Lewis

1996 and 2003 are also great drafts.
