My husband has a little garden in our tiny backyard. Yesterday when he checked, there were several tomatoes on the vine, that weren't quite ready to be picked yet. This evening we went out and they were all gone! It wasn't by animals either. This happened to a couple of our tomatoes last year and I don't know what to do about it.

  1. Buy yourself a Remington 7600 and some 00 buck. He'll never steal your tomatoes again.

  2. I would poison the remanding tomatoes and let them steal as much as they want.

  3. Hang some tinkle bells on your tomatoes.  Set trip wires.  Put up Private Property and/or No Trespassing signs (I've heard that it works).  Get a scary statue (I would call it a mono [long story]) and put it in your garden to ward off the evil people.  Pray for a bountiful crop, and when you have more than enough, leave a basket tomatoes out for your neighbors to help themselves.  Dance in the moonlight and pray that the offenders get heartburn everytime they steal the forbidden fruit.

  4. i'd like to tell you what i'd do about it, but it would get me kicked off of answers.

prologue- pigs eat the entire body, bones and all.

  5. I would install a livestock electric fence around the tomatoes but inside your yard.  It will deliver a shock that is quite painful but absolutely non lethal and your two legged varmints will not return.
