  1. check my answers thats what i do

and i talk to lots of school kids about Environmental awareness

to farmers  i talk about sustainable farming and agro forestal ,reforrestation and water harvesting

and i devellop properties in to becoming selfsutainable and towards autosuficiency

  2. Nope I will let you do it for me.

  3. Help out in national parks, vote for government that supports national parks like labour kicked the "mountain cattlemen" out of the high country and the scallop dredges out of Port Phillip Bay,don't give commercial interests a look in or they will take the lot.

  4. don't confuse conservation with energy efficiency.  conservation means doing without.  like not using electricity rather than using a more efficient light bulb or not driving a car rather than driving a more fuel-efficient one.

i don't turn on lights or leave them on when i don't need them. i don;t leave the refrigerator door open. (sounds like my mom snuck in here!)

i wash clothes in cold water. i buy clothes that don't need ironing and i never buy clothes that need dry cleaning ( a disgusting waster of energy and source of air and water pollution).

i walk and ride a bike a lot. if i must drive i make one organized trip instead of a lot of back and forths and i avoid the drive-in line like th plague.

i think about my purchases of stuff and, first, if i really need something or am i shopping because i'm bored (see walking & biling above for boredom cures).  i try to buy things with little or no packaging as the manufacture of the box or wrapper uses a lot of energy but ads no value to the product.  do i really need a plastic bag (or a paper receipt) for everything i buy?

that's a pretty fair start, but like a lot of things, you have to give it some personal thought based on your habits and (here comes the hard part)  then you have to change the habits that you recognize are not in line wiht what you want to accoomplish (now my dad's snuck in!!)

    good luck.

  5. Our whole bio diversity is in danger and with pollution, climatic changes, rise in temperature, cutting down of forests and lack of good habitat and breeding grounds we will be loosing many of them and the whole ecological balance or the food web will break which will further induce fast extinction.

To help save this race of extinction started by us humans we will have to come forward and change our way of living and thinking. We have become so materialistic and believe we can win over nature. Even today our scientific knowledge is not such which will let us survive over nature.

We need to work for saving each and every living being since every one is important for maintaining ecological balance.

Our way of living is not sustainable and we waste, pollute and exploit our natural resources. We will have to change ourself we will have to follow the principals of sustainable living, save forests, lessen pollution, decrease use of fossil fuel and plant at least one tree every year.

I have taken a step ahead ans realised I have to save our earth and its balance for our children. I plant a tree every year, i do not waste but try to reuse things, I use least possible fossil fuel and I hope every one start doing this.
