  1. Start praying.. say positive things. Ask for peace. For strength of spirit. For patience. For love in ur heart. And start remembering and writing down all the things that you are grateful for. Gratitude.

Also, try to think...why am I feeling bad. Is there something that you need to achieve but are not able to? (just as an example) Then look for solutions and just do them.

Life's not meant to be suffered through. The solution lies in your own perspective.... work from the inside-out.....

  2. 1. Do something today, no matter how small, that I have been putting off.    Ex.   clean a small drawer of momentos.

2.Do something today, no matter how small, to make myself feel good.    Ex.  take a nice hot bath.

3.Do something for someone else today, no matter how small.  Ex. take a surprise plate of tea and cookies to a new neighbor.

    4. Do something physical, no matter how small, today.

Example, walk outside, around the house, or, walk inside the house up and about to cover each part of the rooms or apartment, and back again.   Or, take a walk along the block.

    5. Do something mental.   Read a poem, or, write a poem, or a prayer, or a journal, or even play an instrument such as the keyboard, or do some listing of things that need to be done.

    6. Say a little prayer, or combine the last three in the same thing together.   As a little walk to a secluded spot, and sit down, and write a little prayer.

  3. Sleep.

  4. My brother has P.T.S.D. complete with major depression. Nothing seems to make him feel good so he solved it by not ever going out. So far it has been 4 years in a house he hates. I like to think that I would respond differently because in staying at home, all he is doing is something else that only makes him feel bad. I hope I would find the right support  of friends, professionals and/or medication as a last resort, to see me through.

  5. Well, I would probably know that I was depressed and try to find a way to fix it.

  6. Have a moment to yourself. Just yourself. Don't let anyone or anything disturb you. Just lie down, or sit somewhere quiet. THen think. Just do some thinking. Dig down, and you will realize that you're stronger than all your problems. Because in reality, problems weaken people, they make people feel horrible...but after a while, you start to realize that the feeling bad emotion is just going to give you strength. Take some time for yourself, and at one point you'll realize that you're going to be better.
