  1. Wow. Are there any kids in the house?

Your family member must seriously have her mind set on this for some reason? I for one, wouldn't like knowing or even hearing about the living arrangements a family member has made with a convict (he did 15 years!). But it's her/his decision- hopefully there are no kids involved.

  2. Depends on the family member and their age. You really can't control anyone but yourself. If they invited this person to live with them then they must be an adult. I might let the convict know how I felt and let him know I am watching him like a hawk. That I have private investigators on him and random times and will hunt him down and kill him if he hurts my family member. I would let he family member know I was concerned for their safety. Then I would never speak of it again.

  3. Tell them that they are crazy and ask them what would provoke them to do such a thing.

  4. WOW, well I think I would steer clear of the family member! Would probably get on the phone and tell this family member how concerned you are and suggest help. If they refuse, could at least say if they need you, you are still there for them.

    Good luck with this!

  5. I'd sit them down and have a really, really serious talk with them and urge them to get some counseling. Then I would tell them: I will call you regularly, and you are more than welcome at my house at any time (alone). But I am never coming anywhere near this guy.

  6. I would not live in the same house with them.  Find out why they would let this man live in their home.

  7. Avoid the family member and suggest they see a therapist because that is completely insane.
