  1. Honestly, it depends what the server was like. If they really, really sucked I'd keep it, but otherwise, nah, I'd give it back.

  2. I would tell him.

You know what is right and wat  is wrong.

and you get tht werid feeling when you know your doing something wrong.

it feels alot better wen you do wats right and it is very rewarding.

    tell him.

  3. good  thinking

  4. yeah i would give it back

what goes around, comes around...you know

  5. I have waitressed before and it is not an easy job! Absolutely I would give the money back for the reason I said, but also KARMA. Sorry you were short!!

  6. The right thing to do is tell. But personnally i dont know. guess ill  have to be on the spot to know...

  7. tell him/her bc its the right thing to do!

  8. I would tell the waiter, there is a thing called KARMA

  9. Be honest...

  10. ask if i could keep it.

  11. I would tell him. And then tell him to be more careful! Maybe he is just bad at math, but it will cost him. And he won't make out well.

  12. I was a server, and based on the a******s you wait on, i'd say that most of them wouldn't tell you with the percentage of those who would correct you narrowing with  the more money it is.

  13. tell

  14. It depends on if he was a good waiter or not. ha.

if he wasnt id keep it. if he was really nice and a good waiter id probly tell him.

  15. I've been in similar situations.  Recently, a cashier forgot to charge me for a power drill.  I had it in the bag and I was half way out the door when I realized it.  I went back and paid for it because I believe in karma.

  16. When I get too much change back, I always bring it to the other person's attention.  I enjoy being honest.

  17. i'd tell them

  18. I would probably keep it.  i am poor and need all the help i can get, if god sees it fit to give me extra money in that way, who am I to turn it down??

  19. Depends, on  how good they were and how much it is.

Of course i'd feel guilty keeping it, but thats not the question

i would defently give $100 back though, $5 probably not

  20. I have told although not everyone would.

I do think it is a big mistake on your part that you lost that much in a single transaction.  You might try putting large bills in a different pocket or something like that.

  21. I would probably leave it as the tip plus what I was going to give them. I might just tell them because if I did just leave it as the tip they might get blamed for taking it.

  22. of course TELL u HAVE to be honest with him and urself!! ill never keep money that doesnt belong to me..

  23. i agree with lil cookie. depends if he was nice or not.

  24. Well, funny thing is that this has happened to me before. The waitress gave me a hundred dollars in extra change... I definitely gave it back. How would you feel carrying around money that is not yours??
