Just like "Swing Vote" scenario, only there wasn't even one vote left to go?

  1. no there can be a 269-269 tie. It would then go to congress which has happened before. Hard to say what theyr would do....some people would say they would vote party line. But more then likley they would be forced to go with the poupular vote, which would kill the democrats if john mccain got it.

  2. The electoral college was designed to make sure that there would be succession and on the myth that the common masses were unable to be trusted in the selection.  But just for fun, I think the House of Representatives would choose the next President or maybe the combined houses.  But, the electoral college was a bad idea and should be abolished.

  3. That would never happen.

  4. I would switch my vote to the other candidate so he can win by two and we can all get on with our lives.

  5. Because there are an odd number of electoral votes its impossible.  But its a fun theory and in such a case I'd suggest a duel...my bet would be on Sarah winning that one.

  6. Umm it ofcourse comes down to the emergency system, specially developed for rare situations like these - get OBAMA and mccain to arm wrestle! (Winner takes all) :)
