What would you do if the bus driver of the bus you were on ask you to drive it. while he went to the bathroom?

I am fully licensed and experienced driving many types of large vehicles.   But I don't work for free!

Really,  a silly question.   To safely change drivers,  the bus needs to come to a stop in a safe location.   Drivers need to get up and down,  seat belts fastened,  mirrors checked.     All this...... twice.       In that amount of time,  the guy could just go and get back.

I'd have to decline and ask him to pull over on the side of the road so he could take care of business.  The reason being that he is licensed to drive the bus, you are not and if by chance there was an accident you would be held personally responsible - not the bus company.

I would get off the bus.  If the driver trusts a ( presumably ) non-licensed driver to drive the bus, I don't want to be on it.

It definitely depends  whether the bus had a bathroom on it or did the driver leave...
