I would prevent my pet from l*****g and ingesting the paint. Then I would sedate the animal and clean and/or shave the fur. I would then need to contact the poisons bureau to see if the paint contains dangerous chemicals and administer supportive treatment as required.

If I found the culprits I would, possibly with the support of the RSPCA , take them to court and have them prosecuted for animal cruelty, which carries a fine and possible custodial sentence as well as a ban on keeping animals.

I fail to understand your sense of humour.
