What if you were a train conductor like me and someone on the train was all drunk and said "Buzz off, peebrain!" and slapped you right in the face as you went to him to collect money for his train fee?

Even though that never happened to me yet, I'm thinking

I might once again open up a can of whoop-as@ on the passenger and throw his sorry-as@ off the train at the next stop, if not while it's still moving. I'm getting ready for work in a little bit, so I was just wondering what would you do if that ever happened to you on the train.

Just wondering.

  1. i will get out of da train n take another train.........................

  2. Call ahead for the local authorities -- then get your can opener; when the local police come for them, kindly explain that they were so drunk that they kept running into the door.  If that doesn't work, tell them they ran into your fist.

  3. well, it would be very satisfying

but you would lose your job, so would it be worth it??

Railroads do not tolerate altercation in any form.

  4. I'm in the job in the U.K. and this has happened to me.

My advice would be to *not* retaliate under any circumstances, you'll lose your job. I know how tempting it is to beat the cr*p out of a drunk who has assaulted you, but you should refrain from doing that, however right it seems at the time. Walk away from your assailant and phone for police assistance. The courts take a dim view of people who assault rail staff and will pass an appropriate sentence, usually custodial.

  5. You evidently don't work on R.R or you would know.

  6. If I were you, I would just called the cops and have them wait at the next station. When your train gets to the next station and cops board the train, simply explain the problem and let the cops handle it from there.  Here in New York City, they have the same problem on the both the subway (metro) and the regional railways. What the conductor does, is just call the station head and the cops will be waiting at the next station, just like clockwork.

Therefore, don't pick a fight and loose your job. Call the cops, let them handle it.

  11. if you got on a train because y0ou were in a rush and forgot to buy a ticket would you get a fine? what time do train conductors stop working at night because i never get checked and it was a waste of money buying that ticket

  12. I viewed a similar situation on SEPTA. The conductor radioed ahead and had the police waiting at the next station. They handled it.

  13. proballily go either way you could sue them or you could lose ur job dnt risk it m8

  14. what are the railway protection force meant for

  15. Why are you reposting this? Are you trying to build a case to justify your actions? You call ahead and have the local sheriff waiting for him it's a simple case of assault. It's your train and if he didn't pay ,he's trespassing!

  16. I would jump off!
