I have braces and no one has ever called me that but of course I am in college and kids are just that childish.. just hold your head up and know that you are much better than them.. know that you are better than stooping to their level and later on in life you will have a gorgeous smile and not even remember the things they teased you about.. someday you will have your own children and have to deal with situations like these and you can tell them your story and let them know that later in life those things don't matter..

I would tell them that I am proud to be a metal mouth and proud to have braces. And my teeth will be straight when I grow up.

i would smile real pretty and call them crooked tooth face.... dont let them get to you after the braces come off you will have a million dollar smile, as with them,,,,not so just dont let it bother you...good luck

everyone has braces now so its not a big thing! so i would just be like hmm i bet their jealous they don't have them lol
