What would you do if you came face to face with a tarantula?

can you imagine a HUGE tarantula the size of a dinner plate staring you in the face with eight eyes? what would you do??

I would admire it as a fascinating wild animal, and let it go about its business.

Most tarantulas are busy minding their own business. If you don't bother them, they won't bother you.

I would probably wonder what a Theraphosa blondi is doing here in the Midwest.

Then I would capture it and keep it as a pet.  Watch out for the hairs though, they can cause a nasty rash.

or

light the hairyball on fire

or

slice it with a big knife

or

spray him to death with bug spray so he has a slow painful death

I would take a picture of it, if I had my camera, because that's pretty cool, and then I'd just keep walking.
