What would you do if you found out love interest lied about age by 2 years?

I met someone today whom is 21. I'm 17 and I said I was 19... I didn't want the age to scare him away and it just kinda came out. I wasn't planning on actually liking him and hanging out. Just to chat. But now that we like each other we want to hang out, but I don't want to lie to him about who I am, so I plan on telling him. He seemed to like me for me.

Is this a big deal? How would you react? How do I approach telling him?

You should definitely tell him now. If I was him, I wouldn't be too annoyed by it, but some people go by 'no under 18' law.

It is a big deal depending on what is legal, and whether anyone discovers your relationship.

If the government is not involved, it is really not a big deal, grrls lie about their age all the time.

If I ask, "Who is your favorite power ranger?" and I get a reply instead of a puzzled look, I imagine maybe she is not really 19.

What I am saying is the age thing means little, except for the laws about s*x, maybe U can pace the relationship until U R legal.
