  1. I am a military wife with no kids. I have held down a career while moving all over supporting my husband as he has served. He is currently on his third deployment now.

If world war 3 broke out and all the males in the US had to fight I would not hesitate to join them. I would gladly die for this country and every American should feel proud to defend our country. I am a woman but if I can man up please don't let me read of guys posting on here that they couldnt see themselves doing the same.

  2. As an old dad I would say I would fear for my boys.  Especially as they fear little for themselves [like most teens]

I would want to defend my family

But underneath it all I'm old enough and experienced enough with war and violence to say it is almost always a futility.  Even when the cause seems worthy often the methods bring more death and destruction than should happen.

    I would pray for peace!

[UPDATE] For the benefit of the Gung Ho may I add Nationalism can be very misplaced especially when those in power fail to uphold their own law, international law, or the laws of commonsense and decency.  I lost someone very dear to me because people in power cried 'Nation first' but kept their blood safe.  Nationalism is often the mask hiding economic or politically convenient reasons for war.

{UPDATE} I do not critiscize the brave souls who fight for right.  Only those who would fool us to beleive we are right when me may not have needed to fight at all.

  3. If conscription was introduced in Britain, anyone refusing to serve in the forces would have 2 options. They can be given a non combatant job in the service, which means they still have to do basic Training, or go to prison. Which ever they choose, they will be branded cowards and get a lot of ill treatment. All gung ho glory seekers  will find that active service is nothing like the movies. it is brutal and bloody, and you will c**p your pants at the first engagement with the enemy.

  4. I would proudly go defend my country. Thats the reason im signing up. of course, thats after sh*tting my pants

  5. Refuse ,,they can`t make you fight

  6. I'm in so I'd have to go anyways, but I'd tell people to "Man up".

  7. I would proudly go. Especially as I'm already in the RAF.

I would proudly pick up my rifle and defend my homeland from attack.

Besides, I've only just got back from Iraq.

  8. I would not have to be made to go, I'd go if they asked me.

Vet-USAF / Old Guy my basic was in 1979

  9. GET SOME IN

  10. If I was 18, I'd already be over there.

  11. i would do my duty till the bitter end and take as many of the enemy as I could.

  12. I would pray to god i turn 17 soon get my high school diploma zoom through ranger school and go kick some ***, thats what

  13. I would join the refuse-iliers

  14. Well im shipping out soon anyway... but if its time to take down those chinese sons of b*****s then itd give me more of a reason to join.

  15. I would be sitting behind my computer like right now and clicking the refresh button on my DOPPLER Radar watching for storms.  Because there are people like us which still needs to keep track of hurricanes, tornadoes, and tropical storms.  Why need to fight when people will be needing help when there residential areas gets flooded.

Not all males will go.  You still need the police, fire departments, the paramedics, the EMTs, the First Responders and especially construction workers.

The stupidest thing to do is have all the males join then there will be civil disobediance, riots, and crime in general increase.

So the question should be what would you do if WWIII broke out?

  16. I would have fun blasting the enemy but wouldn't be pleased defending Gordon Brown and his cronies.I would do it for Queen and country and family.I would be very worried about my family because this Government would not look after them while I'm fighting for them.Look how they treat the veterans now.I would be fighting while terribly worried.Wouldn't be a happy place to be.
