What would you do if you got pulled over by a cop without your licence

No, they will write you a ticket. Then you can go to court and show your license.

They will ask for your SS# to determine what you license # is and see if it valid.

If you just don't have the physical license, I think they have a way of looking you up somehow. But you get an extra fine/ticket or something. I'm assuming you mean that as opposed to "don't have a valid drivers license"

Well when I was living out of my van I got beaten up and robbed, one of the things that were taken was my drivers licence.  I got messed with a few times and once they made a relative come out  to identify me.

yeah they give you liek a day to get your license or something like a day or 2 i forget but yeah thats what happens

I live in Britain so if you are in the US, it might be a little different but i guess it should be the same

if a police officer pulls you over and you are not carrying your licence (which very few people i know do) you are given a number of days (not sure on the precise number) to go to a police station and produce your drivers license. it doesn't matter if you go to a police station that the cop who pulled you over isn't from, you are still producing the documents to the police

You have 24 hours to produce your licence. He will probably let it slide, if he is a db, he'll make you bring it to the police station.

You could trying explaining why you don't have your drivers license with you. Then if the Police Officer writes you a ticket, usually when you go to court and provide your drivers license the court will dismiss the charge. (usually)
