they forgot a meal. my husband went back (20min drive one way). when he got there the owner accused him of loosing. While they were making him a new one, he went over and got a six pack. When he went back in the owner said you lost it and got crappy with him. He said we wont eat here again since you treat your customers like criminals. The owner then grabbed the food back and shoved my husband out the door. We have a business ourselves. what the heck would you do?

  1. people are so inconsiderate

  2. review the restaurant on yahoo and other online sites - the best thing you can do is to discourage other diners from eating there and getting the same kind of bad service.

  3. Complain and let all the locals know by putting a letter to the editor in the newspaper.  That was the most unprofessional thing he could have done.  The owner of that restaurant must be unstable.

  4. i would not go back to give them business, and file a complaint.

  5. At this point there is really nothing that you can do because this is going to drive you crazy.

The best thing that you can do is to never go back there.  I know that this answer probably doesn't provide you with much gratification, and any normal person would love to see this restaurant owner get his one day.  And he will.  But he will do it to himself.

The last thing that you want is for your husband to have been involved in some altercation.  And, when push comes to shove, the restaurant is the owner's place.  If he wants to act like a scumbag then he can.  It's just a shame that other people have to be on the recieving end of it.  But you only have to tolerate it once -  Don't go back.

  6. You can write a "review" in the local paper.

  7. I would call the better business bureau. If you have a local paper that does restaurant reviews perhaps you could call them and let them know of your experience. You should at the very least get an apology from the owner and your money back and if the owner actually pushed your husband you should file charges.
