I'm a nanny to twin girls. One of them has 2 toy dolls that she carries everywhere. Well she put the dolls on the floor on top of each other and laid down on them (on her stomach) and starting moving up and down and giggling. I asked her whats she was doing and she giggled and that's about it...

Im thinking she saw something that she shouldn't have...Would you say anything to the parents?

  1. Definitely say something to the mother.  It may be embarrassing but it's also important and your job.  Just say it like this, "Hey, just thought I should let you know, Suzie was lying on her dolls and mimicking s*x today..." then let her questions lead you on what else to say and how to react.  Ask her how you'd like her to handle it in the future.

    Awkward.

    Good luck to you! :)

  2. I think she saw something she shouldn't have.  If she does this again, or on a regular basis, I would say something then to the parents.  Most times though, things like that slip a toddlers memory really quick.

  3. i would laugh my butt of hahahha.

    nasty eww.

tell her parents to stop having s*x in front of her!!

  4. i would diffenitly say something to the parents now.

  5. I don't agree that it's not "normal".  She obvsiously walked in on her parents or is imitating what she is seeing somewhere else.  Defintiely tell her parents.  If something is happening to that child (which I doubt, but still) her parents need to be aware NOW.

  6. Shes just a little girl playing.

Thats whats wrong with kids today, adults always have to be making something out of kids just being kids. Always suspicious, always thinking something nasty. Kids dont think that way!

    LET KIDS BE KIDS!!!!!

  7. I wouldn't be too worried about this, as strange as it seems - small children touching themselves is normal. What is weird here is the laying on top of the dolls part - if she is around other kids (older) she probably heard them say something or maybe it is more serious. I would absolutely mention this to the parents and let them take it from there. A doctor will be able to tell if anything bad has happened to her - I had a neighboor whose little boy (4) humped everything and so of course, she was afraid he had been molested, she took him the doctor and a psychologist and they were like "No, he hasn't been abused...he just wants to hump stuff. Tell him to do it in privacy in his room."

  8. haha i'd laugh hahahahahaha

i would be way to embarassed to tell the parents cuz they'd be embarrased of what you saw

save the parents some embarrassment and let them see it and handle it themselves

  9. Actually it IS normal.  She has discovered that it feels good to rub things on herself.  It's NORMAL.  You can bring it up with the mom, but the mom probably already knows.  You can start by telling the girl that she is only to do that in her own room with no one else around.

If she was doing this action on a person?  That would be another story, but we're talking about a doll.  It's no worse than a boy walking around with his hand on his p***s!
