I have to admit that I was astounded by your question since the very same thing happened to me back in '72 when I was fishing in my 10' jon boat 300 miles off the coast of Chile in 70,000 feet of water!  Amazed that I was, three of the little devils appeared over the stern and demanded that I simply give it up and submit to their whims.  Cleverly, I asked them (in their native tongue, of course, since anyone who has spent any time fishing in or about Chilean waters is familiar with how they speak) if I could have one last wish and, grudgingly, they agreed.

I simply opened a stale box of Trix cereal that I had laying about ( I get hungry at sea, you see) and they promptly fled the scene.  Why, you ask??????????????????? Well, everyone knows that Trix are for Kids!!
