I would really have to question the trust of my significant other.

If the problem became very serious, I would have to reconsider the relationship's longetivity, but in most cases, I would simply have to confront them.

i would say to them

'do you not trust me? i care for you, so i'd like you to tell me if someone hurt you in the past'

but some people don't want to know the answer to this question since it deals with sad issues.

i would wonder why. they are a person, something inside them pushes them to do this.
