My daughter takes piano and at first the piano teacher gave her three books and provided a receipt for the purchase and I paid her for the books. Now she (according to my daughter) takes the books out of her stockpile and charges me as if they were new. These are books that have writing on them, are a bit crinkled etc. They are obviously not new and have been used/enjoyed etc. She charges what the preprinted price is on the book. She says that she got them at the music store, she very well might have but that was probably 10 to 20 years ago. This latest one says 'first grade' on it and my daughter is going into third. I wasn't sure if 'first grade' meant in piano or what. What would you do? Ask for a receipt for the books in the future? Let it be? She is old and she is a sweet teacher.
