What would you do if your children told you they are g*y?

I would feel no different if my (theoretical) daughter brought home a girlfriend than if she brought home a boyfriend.

I would love her unconditionally and finding out she was g*y would not even cause me to stop and think. I'd just be so glad she lived in a time when she could be herself without so much oppression as there has been for too long.

I don't actually have kids yet, but that's my viewpoint.

Be supportive.  Considering people generally know their situation at a very young age, I believe firmly we do not truly choose our actual sexual orientation.

I'd love them just the same. I might worry that their path in life will be rougher due to the attitude many people have and feel a selfish twinge of worry about my prospects of grandchildren but I'd deal with those issues. If that is who they are then I would accept that about them.

That would be the most shocking thing that could ever happen to me.  Because I don't think I have any children.

But the g*y thing doesn't matter to me.  I'd be more upset if my kids turned out to be Republicans.

its a freedom of choice, so i would support them with love and care. everyone is capable of love, but who they decide to love is up to them.

Love them anyway. They are my children and while that would not be the path I would choose for them they are who they are. I would pray as I always do for them.
