What would you do if your favorite restaurant received the letter grade "C" from the Health Department?

ask  to see the inspection report. evidently the letter grade most likely came from areas in the rest. that  you have not seen, like the kitchen for example. that is an area that the inspectors are always finding things.

Restaurants know when they will be inspected so they will go that extra mile to have everything in perfect condition. If you know the restaurant  and maybe some of the staff,  you should be able to make your own judgement.

aske them what happened... it could bave been a mistake on their part, like an isolated incident.

Anyone who has worked in the food industry knows that 1 thing can really damage you score, even if it was just a mistake.

Ask to see the kitchen.  If they have nothing to fear, they will be more than happy to indulge in your request!

Well. You may as well start eating in your basement, alone. So that you will no longer be subjected to these horrible "C" restaurants.

I think you can find out from the Health Department WHY this restaurant received a C.  It could be for very minor reasons, but if they are serious violations I would consider finding a new favorite!

Honestly, my favorite Chinese place is a serious hole in the wall... I could care less what rating they have.
