  1. It wouldn't bother me too much.  St. Louis is 5 hours away from here, so it's not like I can get to very many games anyway.  I doubt the Cardinals will ever move though.

  2. im frm new york so i have 2 teams on my side.

  3. I would still root for them.

  4. If the Yankees ever move out of New York, I wouldn't be a fan anymore. I only root for teams representing New York City (and Syracuse University).

  5. I would be disappointed if the Yanks left NY.

  6. I would be upset, although my favorite team is moving, from Oakland to Fremont probably. They're going to have a new stadium. So, it's already pretty sad. I would still root for them and all (Nothing will change), it's just I have to travel a further distance to get there. I really don't want them to move though. =]

  7. My hometown team moves to different cities one player at a time.

The Indians used to be the best farm team (in the 60s and 70s) because nearly every player they traded or sold did much better in a different city.

If this was about football I could mention the Baltimore Ravens.

    I haven't watched football since.

  8. look at the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, Boston Braves, Washington Senators (now the Minnesota Twins and the Texas Rangers).

People will eventually forget.  and move on.

don't forget people were really heartbroken about the Brooklyn dogers.

  9. I'd be depressed...

Or maybe, if the Orioles came to Texas, I'd be happy.  But if the Rangers moved away from me I'd be sad. =(

  10. kill someone

    go cubbies!!!

  11. I'm not even happy that they're moving into a new ballpark.  It will never be "Yankee Stadium" to me.

  12. It would not matter to me one bit.  That is a benefit of rooting for an out of town team.  (Red Sox fan in NYC)  I would hate to lose Fenway, though.

  13. be mad or not care if you didnt like them

  14. I would demand a refund for the last 11 years worth of season tickets that I purchased to watch a last place team.  It takes a special kind of fan to be a Royals season ticket holder and I would feel incredibly betrayed and personally wronged if the team moved on me.

  15. im a diehard mets fan. i'd be devastated if they left. I'd go into a deep depression...or move!

  16. The things is, I dont' think the Phillies would ever switch cities.  They've been in the same city for 125 years.  Plus, you can't take a team away from Philadelphia.  Philadelphia is a staple in US history, its the sixth most populated city in the US, it would be about the dumbest thing ever and would make no sense.  I understand if it was like the Shaboigan Phillies or something but not PHILADELPHIA.  Not to mention you'd have thousands of pissed off Phillies fan, which is never a good thing.  But on the off chance it did happen, I'd definitely be one of those pissed off fans.
