What would you do if your husband gave you an F on your report card talking back to him?

I'm sad b/c I got a report card today (I usually get them when I'm really good or really bad) and my husband gave me an F for talking back to him the other day, but I didn't. I only said I didn't care what he did to me b/c I was upset but i apologized and this makes me sad that he thinks I would do that to him.

I mean does not a person in this world just communicate like an adult is suppose to do ~ they make shows like 7th heaven for a reason to teach people how to communicate w/ their spouses and children w/out belittling them and that is EXACTLY what your husband is doing by giving you a report card and if you can't give him one back then I am really going to VOMIT

WTF your relationship seems a little odd to me. The fact that he gives you a report card is wrong and down grading. Who is he to report on your behavior is he your husband or teacher. I mean this relationship sounds extremely controlling to me. you talked back what is that i didnt know that an adult could talk back to an adult they were married to come on and the fact that you apologized sickens me to know end. I would give him a report card back and be completely honest. LOL

The report card thing might not be a good idea in a marriage - it leaves the door open for one to dominate the other - unless that is what the report card is about.

I would tell him game over and tear it up in front of him.
