What would you do? please answer, i know you can see this!

Question

...if you had to start a new high school as a freshman TOMORROW, you didn't know anybody, you had nowhere to sit at lunch, you had acne, your parents didn't understand how you felt, you had no new clothes (only 2 pairs of jeans, and 4 tops), were dropped of in an ugly mini van, and were very shy??

Don't try to answer to please me. I'm not choosing a best answer. I'm letting you guys vote. Majority rules. Have fun!!

I don't see any problem here.  Can you make your acne vanish tomorrow?  can your parents buy the best and newest van or car to replace your old ugly mini van tomorrow? Can you force your parents to buy you more designer jeans and tops to use in school? It is just a matter of attitude.  You can choose to make your freshman year meaningful buy going there tomorrow like a brand new person wearing old pair of jeans and tops, or you can choose to make life miserable by trying to be what you are not or trying to wear what you do not have and trying to want to be dropped off to school in a new car.  There are things that we cannot do something about for now.  Therefore, we need to learn to adapt and adjust to situations...

well im kind of going to go through the same thing because im going to start high school and im not going to know anybody! :/ but im sure that there will be many other freshman that wont know anybody too! im not going to be the only one! in lunch im just going to go and sit by someone that is also alone or just join some group or sit alone its not that of a big deal! :) im also going to be nice and polite! im not going to try to be someone im not! im also very shy! :/

if your parents dont know how you feel try to talk to them! dont worry about acne becase your not the only one that will have acne! :) you also shouldnt worry about what people think about the car that drops you off! and about the clothes dont worry make sure its clean and good smelling and it will be great! :) mix the jeans with different shirts all the time! try to make things look different! :)

I wouldn't care.  I willingly spent most of high school that way.  If you don't care about where you are, then you don't complain.  Is this supposed to be a question about how YOU should deal with this?

uh well. i kinda feel your pain really cuz i'm about to go to 8th grade actually.

i'm not sure if my friends have the same classes with me so i'm really scared an worried.

Just make a conversation with people who sit next to you. Then you would make some friends.

Wash your face daily but if the acne doesn't dissappear then use some cover up.

As for your outfit... well go to JC Penny cuz i heard that they had a lot of sales over there.

And the ugly mini van... it really doesn't matter to what kind of car your parents drive because nobody really notices those. trust me cuz i just got a new car and nobody thought about the car.

Get over your shyness. Just tell yourself you can do this. Everybody is shy on the first day of school. So its ok. When someone says hi to you and you're too shy to answer, just say that you're kinda shy and who knows, they might say,"Me too! Hi my name's (insert name here)"
