I am going to have a lot of questions - how did it happen, when, where, what should have been done to prevent the mishap from happening?

I am going to be very angry..(Stupid jerk!!...Why did you get killed right now?...You have your whole life in front of you...You're my friend and now you're gone and that hurts me.)

The toughest part is the stark realization that there is not a bloody thing I can do about it...In time, the pain and hurt will fade to the back of the mind...And if I have any compassion for my friend, I will always remember my friend in my prayers asking God for mercy (for my friend) and comfort (for me)

I will take time (3 days) to mourn my friend and celebrate their life - giving thanks to God that we were friends...Then I will get up, put one foot in front of the other and move on...Life goes on -- and so do I.

Remember all of the good things that they did in their life and keep that with you to help get through.

Bury them. What else CAN you do? Are you going to run around preaching to every bad driver you see? Waste of time.
