  1. play games, take he or she outside to play ball, have a snack, maybe a cartoon movie , puzzles.

  2. Ooo make playdough. It's fun and easy

  3. build them blocks!

  4. Coloring. Play with toys. Go to a playground, watch TV with them. Its not hard.

  5. building blocks man!

    lego!

do what your parents did with you dont just watch tv!

  6. I played barbies with a 3 year old when babysitting once.

You could also do stuff like sidewalk chalk, watching a kiddie movie, building blocks, bubbles.

  7. Maybe you can draw together with crayons that's what I do with the kid I babysit.  Trust me that is what little kids like to do!  And also I don't know about yours but the kid I babysit loves it when I read to her.  She is 3 and she loves princess books and I ask her parents if they can bring some books for her.  She is not allowed to watch television and she knows that, but I don't know about your kid.  I also play stuffed animals with her.  Little kids love barbies, stuffed animals, american girl dolls, you name it!  The kid I watch also does some "studying" which, for a 3yr old, isn't very much.  Cutting straight lines, practicing writing their name, singing the alphabet!  She always shows off what she learned to her parents.  And the best thing is to go outside and play ball.  It's the best!

  8. 3 year olds like to interact ie talk play be read to.  My kids loved playing with paper and crayons or play dough its quite relaxing and the kids sit for long periods of time.  Try to catch their attention and you will have no problems get down to there level and converse.

  9. I have a 3 year old and I suggest reading books, colouring, watching a movie and playing imaginary stuff (princess or robots or something)

  10. you just have to keep them entertained. Toy cars and trucks for a boy building blocks and such. Play dolls with a girl, find a movie the child enjoys and watch it with them. Take him/her outside and be interactive.

  11. Play with them! Depending on if they are a boy or a girl and their interests, you could play blocks, cars, dolls, do something outdoors, draw/color, bake cookies together, read books and even make up your own stories, make simple crafts, have a tea party or teddy bear picnic, watch a movie, etc.

  12. wow wow wubbzy is the key to all munchkins.
