  1. 100 million ay.. well I would give some of it away to good causes and give the rest to my kids so they can have a chance to do great things.

  2. If I won 1 mil I would pay off all my bills, buy a bigger home, take the entire family (grandpas, sisters, etc.) on a vacation somewhere, pay for college, then save the rest for emergency use or retirement for later.

If I won 100 mil I would totally use it to help others in need. That is way too much money to have all to yourself.  I would build nice condo units in several cities for homeles families w/ children and also buy them the necessities to start and then help them with schooling and find jobs in order to be selfsufficient.  I would only allow them to live there for 3yrs so that other homeless families can also get a chance to get on their feet.

I would also donate funds to my church and help to fund programs that assist with families in poverty in U.S. and worldwide and fund programs that assist with protecting and preserving our environment.

  3. No the million I would invest to build to make more. The 100 million I would see the world and set up some trusts for foundation to help those less fortunate.

  4. I would buy 1,000,000 of these:

  5. With 1 million, I'd live relatively bill free quicker than intended. (looking at 8 years  for mtg to be paid off now, 3 for car to be paid off....so I'd not have to bother with those.) Save/invest 1/2 of whats remaining (only owe under 100k on the house, less than 15k on the car).

Find ways to disperse the rest to community things in my area...in a town of 26,000 a couple new ambulances would be nice...but they run 80k each as of 2007. I know one of the volunteer fire stations needs a new location as they are outgrowing their current one. Last year one of the highschools opened late because the AC units went out and needed repair...so new AC's in the schools. (new books, playground equipment, field trip funds, ect). I know a million would go fast, but I'd try to stretch it out in the community as much as possible.

Good lord, with 100 million....honestly, I'd probably do the same for other smaller towns that need it, and get no funding. Then start paying for kids' college, whoever wanted to go....that wouldn't have the chance, but had potential. I have no idea how far that kind of money would stretch...I'd have a hard time spending it all though...I know that much.

  6. I have a million. Actually a good deal more. It's all well invested. If I got another million, I would invest that too. A million dollars doesn't go as far as it used to. 100 million? That's different. That would truly be life changing. My closest family members would never have to worry about money. Along with a very few of my friends. What else would I do? I don't spend a lot of time contemplating things that will never happen.

  7. i probably wouldn't give it all away, but i would definatley give some to like food shelters, orphanages, and animal shelters, because they're in need and i just keeps getting worse. And if you know anyone personally that needs help, financally or something then consdier doing that, but whatever feels right to you.

  8. $1 million I would just invest it, to build a personal portfolio. With $100 million, I would keep $10 million and keep it invested. I would take $50 million and buy a few medium sized companies and run them passively, earning money from them. And with the last $40 million I would set up a foundation where I would support some projects, and probably create my own Linux distribution. On a personal level I would learn to speak a few more languages and learn to program computers.

  9. Get patents on a brand new engineering discovery I made for a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine that outperforms all of the HAWT products on the market and in use in most of the wind farms!

(I know, gratuitous self-promoting is BAD.  But this baby's worth Billions and it would help lots of people with new energy resources!)

  10. one million? leave it in an account with compounding interest for 20 or 30 years. thats what i call a retirement fund.

a hundred million? put it in a bank account with a high interest rate, and set it up so the interest is automatically deposited into a separate account labeled "checking". youd never have to work another day in your life.
