I think alot of places try and cater for everyone, i mean our chinese and indian both sell a couple of english dishes and ive been to many nights out at friends' house when we have ordered takenaway and i can honestly say that at least one person orders the fish and chips.

than you went to a weird mexican resteraunt, they have steak but its usually in fajitas or carne asada but i havent heard of fish and chips at a mexican place
