  1. while it is extremely rare, any bear within the Ursus family CAN produce a hybrid with any of the other Ursus bear types...including black and polar bears. they cannot breed with those outside of their genus, like with a panda.

so far, the only ones confirmed to have been found interbreeding in the wild are the grizzly & polar bear, which they dubbed a Grolar or Pizzly. otherwise hybrids between polars & other bears have all taken place in captivity.

edit: i think the question was about polars not pandas, lol. and pandas ARE bears, they belong to the ursidae family as well. they branch out into a different genus & species, but are still considered part of the bear family.

  2. I think they could theoretically breed since they are both members of the genus Ursus. However, it's unlikely that they would encounter each other in the wild and even less likely that they would choose to mate. As far as I know this has never been done in captivity or artificially. My guess is that the offspring would be gray, but I have no idea.

  3. a black polar bear!?

  4. They can crossbreed, but the chances are pretty slim. There are documented cases of polar/grizzly mixes (called a grolar or pizzly) and polar/brown bear mixes.

  5. Nothing. The two cannot reproduce.

Sorry to disappoint, but it's the truth.

  6. you get a very sad female. And no baby.

    on the joke side

a white bear with 2 black eyes

  7. Nothing because pandas are not bears. They are a completely different species, so they can't breed. Sorry.

  8. a blacplor bear!

    haha!

  9. A beach loving, Ice living panda bear.

  10. a bi polar bear?
