What would you guys prefer to use? a BMX bike or Mountain Bikes? im 14 and i dunno what to use....

I asked my parents if i could have a bike for my birthday andi said i wanted to have a BMX bike, but my dad said he wants me to have a mountain bike, it's still ok for me but i like to have a BMX bike, but i want to have ur opinions.

I prefer Mountain Bikes - especially Jump Bikes becuase they have gears, so it is easier to move around and commute, whilst Jump Bikes have the same qualities as BMX.

Its yor choice really, If you like Stunts - get a BMX

If you like to get around easily whilst doing Jumps and Stuff - Jump Bike is for you.

i prefer a MTB. I went and got a dirt jumping bike(basically a big BMX bike) and i will never, ever go back to riding a BMX bike. Don't think about the "coolnes" factor when deciding on a bike. (i think a dirt jumpin bike looks better anyway)

-specialized P. series bikes

-cannaondale chase

well like MTB better because they have gears and shocks. f you want a BMX bike just because you want to do jumps, thre are actually some mountain bikes made for dirt jumping or even urban jumping. I like MTB better because i think that the 20" wheels are just too smalll for me and im 13 and im about like 5'5"

but really its up to you. I juyust would reccomend the MTB

or get a saracen amplitude. its a one gear mountain bike ( like a bmx ) and it has suspension. it like a bmx and a mtb at the same time

I DON'T CARE ABOUT THUMBS DOWN MUPPETS!

You are over the age of 10, get an MTB - you can ride faster, further and better than you can on a BMX!

BMX's are for kids or blokes with tattoos,piercings and too much THC!

bmx if you actually wanna do tricks or go dirt jumping (which btw, would give you another thing to decide about because there are a huge range of bmx bikes as well)

mountain if you're hitting up the himalayas or riding with your parents lol
