well so long as you didn't smell too bad then I could look you in the face and start talking to you in return...

If you did stink, I might look like I'm trying not to gag and that might give the wrong impression and then of course you'd assume I'm an a** hole for life and that would be one oppurtunity missed to talk to someone interesting like yourself...

So, you like someone and want to break the ice?

Sounds like a good plan to me.  If you just keep looking, and don't muster up the courage to talk to the person things will stay the same...  be courageous and take a chance you might like the result and if you don't you can find someone else to strike up a converstation with instead of wasting your time on this one.
