Surprisingly enough most of us weren't born cops, nor was it our first career. In my department it is very unusual to see an officer under the age of 26...simply put we don't hire right out of college.

I worked for a bank, ending as a VP prior to becoming a cop-also served in the Reserves for 6 years.

And there's no reason to believe that this will be my final profession...

I was a Paramedic before, I would go back to it. Its about being a action junkie
