  1. I would not have invited my mother in law's friends.  They came to my formal wedding in jeans, got drunk, alienated the other guests to the point where they left way early.

  2. I would not have had the same attendants I would have pleased myself & not my mother,I also would have picked out my own dress. and I would have waited 5 years.

  3. I would have been less selfish in the planning and included my mom in the decorating more. But I wanted it so much my way that I took it in my own hands. I've always been a controlling person and I try not to be, I think it makes me seen as a B more and I really don't mean it. So my only advice is to be a little more careless about the perfect details and be open to family ideas more. Not saying you aren't...but hey, you were asking about mine!

  4. I really wany my wedding on a beach, but cant afford the venue on the beach.

  5. There isn't a whole lot - I am pretty happy with who I married and how it was done!

If I could have I would have gone in horse and carriage - but the time frame and the distance between our ceremony and reception sites made this impossible - and I wasn't ready to change either site - even if I had always dreamed of riding a horse to my wedding.

I guess the only thing that I could have had different is my hairstyle... I would have found someone who could do my hair like this...

Instead of giving them that exact picture and getting this as a result!

(I didn't hate my hair but I would have preferred it to look more like the picture above!)

  6. I would not change anything!  Our wedding has been dubbed our "Wedding without guests" and was absolutely stress free.  We got married on the 2nd anniversary of our engagement.  I decided to honor that exact date because he chose it to surprise me with the most romantic proposal on that date.  The day fell on a Wednesday so we found a honeymoon cottage on a seculed lake and had a private ceremony.  We used a tripod and found a gazebo in a park and took pictures.  This was the perfect wedding for us!
