  1. You could put some of the cricks in its cage wile your away but not too many or they might start to acctack him, or try to get someone to look after him wile your away hope it helps

  2. if you are just going away for a couple of days he should be ok just as long as you make sure he eats before you go - and also as long as you change it when you get back you can give him his bowl of water - but no bigger than he usually has, as he could drown if he gets into it, and leos dont need to soak like some other lizards.

    dont leave any live food items in his tank, as he is just a baby they could attack and kill him.

    if you have a basking light for him too you should put it on a timer so its only on in the day, as leaving the light on in the night too can cause stress which could lead to illness

    i hopes he'll be ok for the weekend!

  3. If you are going to be gone for only 2 or three days he should be fine with a large water dish and a big feeding (if you give 12 for a day I'd give 20 total). Remember that even though babies should be feed every other day, they are cold blooded and will survive for a day or three without food. If you have separate night and day cycles I suggest leaving him in "night mode" it will keep the cage warm and him calm. It's what we do when leaving for up to four days. If leaving for a longer period of time, we get someone to check and make sure water dishes are full, if they need crickets they get them, and bulbs haven't blown. Good luck and have fun.

  4. The bast you can do is leave some crickets in the tank, but clean them out as soon as you get home so they don't linger in the tank as they can and will munch on his skin.Don't leave a bowl of meal worms which are yes more contained, but are significantly harder for him to digest. Your best strategy is to get a family member or friend to watch over him, especially since he's a baby. If he were an adult you would have no problem.

  5. Here is a list of what types of food you can give your gecko:

        *  Commercial house crickets (Acheta domesticus)

        * Black field crickets (Gryllus domesticus)

        * Mealworms (Tenebrio molitor)

        * Superworms (Zophobas mario)

        * Silkworms (Bombyx mori)

        * Locusts (Melanopus spp.)

        * Cockroaches (Blaberus cranifer, etc...)

        * Wax worms (Galleria melonella)

        * Pinky mice (for breeding females)

      Be aware that you should only feed your gecko LIVE insects.  Don't feed it dead insects or insects that have been treated with chemicals.

    Since it is a baby, your gecko should be fed every day for a few weeks.  If you want to take your chances, you can throw 10-12 live crickets in with extra food and water so they survive the weekend as well as your gecko.
