  1. Save its destruction. Scientists can store their reproductive fluids for posterity, periodical reproduction when their race is about to vanish.

  2. Close down all of the hunting places in Texas and other spots where people can pay to shoot wild animals as well as enforcing laws against cockfighting and dog fighting. Out law greyhound racing as well as horse racing. Make it mandatory that everyone adopting or purchasing a pet take and PASS a course in caring for it as well as having it neutered and spayed,  go through the United Nations to enforce fishing and net bans to save the marine life it endangers, have more courses in the education system about animals and their environment.

  3. STOP EATING THEM!!!!

  4. What animals are you refering to?  What danger?  I want to protect a number of animals from extinction/depletion so I can continue to hunt them.

  5. Stop man from endangering them! Encouraging man to be as self sufficient as possible on the smallest amount of land possible. Then leaving the rest of the wilderness/nature alone.

The best we can do is be self sufficient as possible, produce your own foods, fuels, deal with your own wastes. Limit your consumption of everything from air plane flights to the size of your family.

Natural ecosystems function perfectly well on their own. They do not exploit, pollute air, water, soil. They support flora and fauna, enrich and build soils. They do not deplete it as humans do with exploitation, pollution and over consumption.

So leave it be, we are arrogant to believe we know better than a natural ecosystem that balances and heals itself. Stop being eco tourists, ruining the countryside and natural habitats with your 4x4s, stop trying to 'save' species that we, mankind has ruined the habitat for.

If it is a man made disaster we have responsibility for it, we should soak up oil spills, but we should not create further damage by 'solving' problems in eco systems, we do not have the knowledge or skills to do so.

  6. I am most worried about species labeled "critically endangered." The  western gorilla gained this ominous label yesterday; it has been devastated by the bushmeat trade and the Ebola virus. I would like to see groups such as the World Wildlife Fund and Nature Conservancy fund local governments in Africa to protect this and other critically endangered species by hiring local people to guard them and providing aid to the local population so that the animals will not be killed for food.  I know some species have received this kind of help; it needs to increase. Bushmeat trade! This is so horrible.
