  1. Mustang....yeeehaaawww

  2. i would like to see nascar use the mustang camaro and the Challenger.

bu what would toyota use. but i would like to see them use newer motors with a fuel injection. but no traction control. and would have to be factory biult.

  3. well keep thinking because they haven't been stock since the late 70s and wont be going back they are not going to bring any of the muscle cars in because they do not feel the need to as these cars basically sell themselves nice question though.

edit:  yes I am sure the fans would love it but the Ford and Chevy both have no interest in bringing their muscle cars to racing saying and I quote from Ford "We see no reason to race the mustang in Nascar as this brand sells itself and has done so since its inception"  and as far as another comapany doing it good luck.

  4. I prefer to watch the COT. Sure they don't handle as good and may look different. They are safer. After watching the face of the sport [Dale Earnhardt Sr] lose his life I would rather see safety first.

The COT can be changed aerodynamically if needed and still maintain the safety standards so that there is better racing. I pray to God they have enough sense to keep the COT.

  5. I perfer the stock body, of course. I would love to see my mustang's sisters going around the track at over 200 mph. I would probably cry everytime one got wrecked, but oh well, that's the sport. :)

  6. Great question.....I have heard that NASCAR is SERIOUSLY considering bringing Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers, etc into the Nationwide series in 2010 or more likely 2011. They desperately want the nationwide series to have it's own identity...and that's definitely a way they could get it. From what I have heard...they are thinking a revamp of the schedule as well. I believe they are considering letting the Truck series race on Sats with the CUP series...and using the Nationwide series to race on Sat nites with IRL, OR OTHER RACING SERIES...they want as much exposure as possible. Of course all of this is rumor but I think it would be a great idea!

  7. The old days anyday. The glory days when a NASCAR team took cars off a lot and modified them to run at the track. That would be a true test of a NASCAR mechanic.

  8. I,m an old school fan...So I like the idea of manufacturer built race cars...This is what made Chrysler a huge success..We have lost the true spirit of what nascar is all about. There is nothing stock on any of the cars of today...This actually makes me sad...
