  1. Apple slices (prepackaged so they don't brown) or  other fruit.  Try to balance the food groups - a protein,a carb, fruit, milk.  Maybe a salad?

  2. carrot sticks with ranch dressing

celery sticks with rach dressing or peanut butter

    baked potato chips

pita chips with hummus for dip

    fruit cup

  3. Carrots - Yes - Ranch - No

Dried veggies/fruits (look in whole foods or your local health food store)

An Apple, banana or other hand-fruit

Yogurt or (if they'll eat it Cottage  Cheese with fruit)

Whole grain crackers with natural peanut butter (light salt, no sugar, all fruit jelly if (s)he wants it sweeter).

Milk (Skim-Whole they need it all) - Add a cold pack if concerned about keeping it chilled.

  4. Yogurt, (low fat, flavored) its low GI so it gives you energy enabling sustained concentration (good for teens). Flavored rice crackers - low fat and good for you plus a great alternative to chips. Fruit and carrot or celery sticks with a humus dip?? also healthy. :)

  5. Protein, healthy carbs, vegetables/fruit. A turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with a little mustard, raw veggies with a dressing they like, fresh fruit like an apple or orange. If they must have chips make them whole grain sun chips or baked potato chips. Just don't put a banana in their like my mom did the first three years of grade school. It flavors everything in the lunch box banana.

  6. monavie the gel pack for kids, GREAT healthy juice kids love!

  7. My kids love carrots and ranch. That is what I would use.

  8. carrots and celery sticks

    crackers

    apple or banana

    yogurt

    a piece of toast
